Project Architect
Pfluger ArchitectsProject Architect responsible for architectural aspects at Pfluger, leading design and construction documentation. Collaborating with teams, ensuring project alignment with code and quality standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the internal team and coordinate outside consultants.
- Ensure that drawings meet the code requirements of the building site’s jurisdiction.
- Support Project Managers throughout construction phase tasks, such as reviewing submittals and attending construction meetings.
- Actively cultivate and support strong client relationships.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with design intent and quality standards.
- Lead internal coordination of technical staff as well as consultants, engineers, and contractors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive knowledge of architecture principles and practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in projects of above-average size and complexity, ensuring excellence, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Extensive experience producing detailed construction documents and specifications.
- Experience in educational projects is required.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office products is highly preferred.
- Professional degree in Architecture is required.
- Licensed Architect in the state of Texas is required.
- Minimum of eight years of architectural experience.
