About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and deliver agentic AI capabilities across Pfizer’s manufacturing network
- Define agent use cases, behaviours, prompts, workflows, and integrations with manufacturing systems and knowledge sources
- Rapidly prototype agent experiences and co-create solutions with customers and manufacturing SMEs
- Implement agent evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop oversight models
- Transform manufacturing knowledge and SME expertise into reusable intelligence assets
- Own product backlogs and translate user needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes
- Apply customer discovery, journey mapping, experimentation, and value realization practices
- Lead co-creation workshops, discovery activities, pilots, demonstrations, and feedback cycles
- Develop adoption activities to maximise utilisation, engagement, and business impact
- Deploy, monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve production agents
- Define value propositions, success metrics, and adoption strategies
- Support incident triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Apply governance frameworks for AI and agentic product development and lifecycle management
- Ensure alignment with Responsible AI, cybersecurity, data governance, quality, validation, and compliance requirements
- Execute evaluation, monitoring, change management, human oversight, and risk management processes
- Partner with Quality, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, and Engineering teams
- Track product success metrics and value realization
- Measure improvements in knowledge accessibility, productivity, decision quality, operational performance, and IMEx maturity
- Identify opportunities to scale capabilities across manufacturing sites and business units
- Champion the transformation of manufacturing digital products into intelligent digital teammates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Experience delivering digital or AI solutions in a manufacturing or regulated environment
- Experience leading delivery teams or workstreams, coordinating engineers, partners, and SMEs
- Solid product and project management skills, including managing backlogs, priorities, stakeholders, and delivery outcomes end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies, including prompt engineering, retrieval/RAG, agent frameworks, evaluation, and guardrails
- Experience operating within formal quality systems and change control
- Strong documentation discipline
- Excellent communication and ability to influence site leadership and global partners
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach with a bias for action and comfort with ambiguity
- Track record of taking ideas from concept through prototype to adoption
- Legally eligible to work in Ireland for the Ireland position
- Hons Degree or equivalent advanced qualification
- Hands-on ability to use AI and agentic tools for rapid mockups and prototypes
- Working knowledge of OT/automation and manufacturing digital systems such as MES, SCADA, historians, and LIMS
- Experience with validated system delivery and regulated computer system validation (CSV)/assurance practices
- Experience with cloud data platforms and advanced analytics/AI in manufacturing
- Formal certification such as Agile/Scrum Product Owner, PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent practice
- Experience leading global, multi-site programs and driving standardization/common platforms
- Financial management experience, including vendor governance, forecasting, and chargeback/showback models
- Experience delivering and operating AI solutions, including MLOps/LLMOps or agentic AI orchestration
- Experience with responsible AI practices, including risk assessments, bias/robustness testing, human oversight, and documentation
