About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales in the assigned territory
- Engage customers face to face and virtually
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans
- Identify and implement live/virtual customer engagement strategies
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments
- Use digital tools to maintain customer engagement
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
- Educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations
- Use approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
- Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives
- Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree; or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales/promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service/account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards
- Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies hiring
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Preferred: 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
- Preferred: strong sales or marketing success, territory management skills, communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and accountability
- Preferred: experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic area, and products
- Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
- Preferred: residence within territory boundaries
