About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote Pfizer’s Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Engage regularly with customers in the field, face to face and virtually
  • Launch new products and develop strategies to manage business relationships
  • Understand and secure formulary access
  • Conduct product promotion within the assigned geography
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer engagement strategies
  • Build and maintain customer relationships in live and virtual environments
  • Use digital tools and multi-platforms for customer engagement
  • Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Use approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Analyze market knowledge, barriers, and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete administrative expectations, including customer call entry, expense submission, and responding to internal requests
  • Work remotely in collaboration with cross-functional internal teams to address customer needs and Pfizer objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of: Professional Sales or Promotional Activity; Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience; Marketing; Customer Service and/or Account Management; Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles; Educator; Full time Military experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies hiring
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical related marketing preferred
  • Vaccines experience strongly preferred
  • Strong track record of sales or marketing success
  • Strong territory management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability
  • Experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
  • Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
  • Reside within the territory boundaries preferred
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
