About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the strategic direction and oversee operational execution for Pfizer’s global Human Resources Services
  • Oversee HR administration, including Hire to Retire process administration and Payroll operations
  • Lead HR business process design, including regional and local process design and maintenance
  • Execute Global Payroll in support of Pfizer colleagues
  • Ensure compliance, controls and audits, including adherence to global controls, SOPs and regional/country work instructions
  • Lead user experience and change management
  • Manage HR information systems, including Workday and local Payroll systems
  • Lead benchmarking and external/regulatory monitoring
  • Oversee Colleague Support Help Desk and issue resolution
  • Set direction for PX services, priorities, major issues, risks and resource needs
  • Lead a global Colleague Services organization within Pfizer’s global PX service delivery model
  • Govern standardization and deliver enhancements across multiple functions
  • Enable implementation and continuous improvement of global HR standards across Pfizer
  • Identify issues and implement resolutions with appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead innovation and continuous improvement across global HR processes, including payroll
  • Disseminate global standards to regions and countries
  • Coordinate across GBS process areas to ensure seamless service delivery and eliminate duplication
  • Track outsourced operations against metrics and service level agreements
  • Resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement and global expansion
  • Collaborate with GBS Leadership, People Experience Leadership, BU Finance Leaders, IBM, ADP and other senior F&GBS leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible management experience, including large scale, cross-functional technical global projects
  • Cross-HR functional knowledge, including HR administration, Payroll, benefits and compensation, staffing, and talent
  • Strategic planning and financial business case experience
  • Experience leading global teams with demonstrated earned leadership and global accountability
  • Management experience and demonstrated proficiency in team and matrix leadership
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee and guide colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
