About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set strategic direction and oversee operational execution for globally delivered financial services
Lead Finance Operations across Order to Cash, local statutory accounting and reporting, transfer pricing, international treasury, legal entity stewardship, and ESG reporting
Ensure business objectives are met and services are best in class while driving innovation and a high-performance culture
Collaborate with BU Finance Leaders, Corporate Tax, Corporate Treasury, Controllers, and the GBS Leadership Team
Lead an inclusive, high-performance culture and drive colleague engagement, talent planning, development, coaching, and mentoring
Develop and sustain a pipeline of future leaders and build leadership bench strength
Provide strategic vision and roadmap for Order to Cash
Oversee approximately $9B in customer collections and $4B in credit risk exposure
Lead the Drive for Cash initiative and represent GBS Financial Services in quarterly CFO reviews
Partner on pricing, factoring, contract negotiations, and credit risk management
Oversee complex O2C system programs, acquisitions, and divestitures; ensure SOX controls and standard operating procedures
Oversee statutory financial statement submissions for 150+ international Pfizer legal entities
Oversee international market operations teams and local legal entity accounting matters
Manage approximately $12B in FX open hedges and $13B in transfer pricing recharges
Oversee ESG Reporting and Disclosures Program and prepare Pfizer for evolving ESG regulatory reporting
Lead global process design, operating model optimization, and continuous improvement
Review performance dashboards, implement improvement initiatives, develop global financial processes, support audits and SOX compliance, and maintain control documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
CPA or Chartered Accountant accreditation required
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in finance, including significant senior leadership accountability
Experience leading and managing a large-scale organization with a global footprint
Proven track record in organizational transformation and associated change management
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to build, lead, and manage effective teams of highly qualified and culturally diverse professionals
Management experience and matrix leadership across global organizations
Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee and guide colleagues
Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available
