About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the U.S. market access strategy for Pfizer's PAVE portfolio, optimizing patient access, portfolio performance, pricing, contracting, and long-term value realization
  • Develop and execute integrated market access strategies for mature and post-exclusivity assets
  • Assess portfolio performance, market dynamics, contracting opportunities, channel strategies, and competitive trends
  • Establish portfolio priorities and direct resource allocation across the PAVE portfolio
  • Lead market access strategy for products transitioning into the PAVE portfolio
  • Evaluate and execute targeted market access opportunities using an entrepreneurial, data-driven approach
  • Shape and operate a streamlined governance model for agile decision-making and risk management
  • Partner with Access Enablement on offer development, deal analytics, pricing strategy, and contracting recommendations
  • Collaborate with Market Access Operations and Strategic Account Management to implement access and contracting strategies
  • Build partnerships across US Market Access, commercial franchises, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team accountable for portfolio outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 12+ years of experience in the healthcare sector
  • Demonstrated experience in market access, contracting, or pricing strategy
  • Experience managing contracting and pricing strategy across multiple brands or a diverse product portfolio simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial orientation and comfort pursuing opportunistic smaller-scale deals without a fully standardized playbook
  • Strong understanding of GTN economics and trade-offs in extending value from mature, post-exclusivity assets
  • Ability to build relationships across a broad stakeholder network, from BU franchise teams to field-facing account teams
  • Comfort operating with higher risk tolerance and faster decision cadence than standard brand-contracting governance
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee and guide colleagues
  • Preferred: experience managing mature, LOE, or established brand portfolios
  • Preferred: prior experience structuring or negotiating opportunistic contracting deals
  • Preferred: experience standing up a new capability or team from scratch
  • Preferred: familiarity with GPO, payer, and channel dynamics across a diversified pharmaceutical portfolio
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Domestic travel up to approximately 25%, based on business needs
