About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and evolve Pfizer’s Collibra Data Governance Center meta-model, system integrations, and workflows
- Partner with Pfizer Global Supply to coordinate catalog and operating-model changes impacting the PGS Unified Data Hub and adjacent platforms
- Represent Data & AI Platforms on PGS-facing projects and forums
- Shape the asset model and build and maintain workflows and external integrations
- Guide standards for security, lineage, and governance
- Collaborate with Information Technology partners to set up development, test, and production environments
- Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments for solutions integrating with Pfizer systems
- Design and implement application software configurations and systems for commercial off-the-shelf products
- Coordinate communication and collaboration within the team to achieve project goals
- Manage time, develop short-term work plans, operate under general supervision, and solve loosely defined problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR master’s degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR associate’s degree with 6 years of experience; OR high school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in data governance, metadata engineering, and/or data modeling
- Strong workflow automation skills, including BPMN and Groovy, Java, or Python scripting
- Experience with Collibra REST API integration patterns
- Ability to coordinate change across business and platform teams, including impact/risk assessment, deployment plans, and controls
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to represent platform positions in PGS product, architecture, and governance forums
- Preferred: background supporting PGS or manufacturing/supply chain data domains and operating models
- Preferred: 1–3+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including DGC, Console, Job Server, workflows, and APIs
- Preferred: experience designing and evolving enterprise-scale Collibra meta-models, including asset/attribute types, relations, communities, and domains
- Preferred: knowledge of technical lineage harvesting and curation, such as Snowflake and Databricks Unity Catalog, and mapping to business glossaries
- Preferred: understanding of Collibra security models, role design, and SSO/IdM integration
- Preferred: familiarity with data quality operating models and rule lifecycle in Collibra
- Preferred: experience in regulated environments, including GxP
- Knowledge of Collibra APIs, Java/Groovy, Python, Copilot Studio/Claude Code, and Git/Jenkins/Git Actions
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks/Unity Catalog, and Tableau/Power BI scanners and lineage connectors
- Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Must have permanent work authorization in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
