About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage FSP resource request intake, approval tracking, and staffing administration across GSSO
- Track FSP headcount, approvals, onboarding/offboarding status, role alignment, and staffing changes
- Administer and improve staff tracking tools, dashboards, approval logs, and resource-management documentation
- Analyze staffing trends, resource gaps, approval cycle times, onboarding delays, plan variance, and staffing KPIs
- Prepare staffing dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive summaries
- Maintain contracted resource information in Pfizer systems, including Get Access
- Support FSP resource forecasts and invoice review and approval
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align resource-management processes, staffing data, delivery metrics, and communications
- Implement business processes supporting staffing operations, resource governance, and process transparency
- Identify and implement AI and digital-tool opportunities for resource tracking, analytics, reporting, automation, and decision-making
- Support FSP staffing, resource tracking, governance, and CRO/FSP vendor relationship process improvements
- Review FSP delivery metrics and identify staffing-related risks, gaps, delays, onboarding issues, plan variance, and trends
- Coordinate with CRO/FSP providers and internal stakeholders on issue escalation, mitigation planning, and resolution
- Support vendor training and oversight activities aligned with Pfizer requirements
- Draft, update, and maintain process documents, SOPs, and guidance materials
- Contribute to FSP management and contracted-resource delivery workstreams
- Collaborate with GSSO, Clinical Development & Operations, project management, and other stakeholders
- Liaise between internal teams and external CRO/FSP partners
- Participate in meetings, resource-planning discussions, workstreams, and strategic initiatives
- Develop and deliver presentations, process documents, and training materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with at least 6+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in clinical operations, resource management, staffing operations, workforce planning, or related operational functions
- Experience managing resource planning, staffing operations, headcount tracking, approval workflows, or workforce planning processes
- Experience maintaining resource trackers, staffing dashboards, approval logs, operational reports, or similar monitoring tools
- Strong analytical skills interpreting staffing trends, resource gaps, cycle times, plan variance, onboarding status, and operational KPIs
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve staffing, onboarding, role-alignment, or resource-deployment issues
- Experience in clinical operations, including exposure to or experience partnering with FSPs or CROs
- Experience implementing project-management tools and techniques, including integrated plans, process timelines, and stakeholder deliverables
- Experience implementing projects and process improvements using change-management tools and techniques
- Experience drafting process documentation and creating presentations for diverse audiences
- Familiarity with AI tools or digital innovation in clinical operations, staffing analytics, resource management, vendor management, or related functions
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
- Permanent work authorization in the United States required
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
- Nice-to-have: Master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 1+ years of experience
- Nice-to-have: Degree in drug development, clinical operations, business operations, workforce planning, or a related discipline
- Nice-to-have: Experience with FSP/CRO resource models, contracted-resource governance, staffing dashboards, or portfolio-level workforce planning
- Nice-to-have: Experience evaluating or deploying AI-enabled tools or platforms
- Nice-to-have: Ability to drive digital transformation within a matrixed organization
