About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Launch new products and determine strategies for managing business relationships
  • Understand formulary access and promote products within assigned accounts
  • Drive sales efforts and develop relationships with assigned customers, Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Identify and implement effective virtual and in-person customer engagement strategies
  • Develop and execute business and territory call plans, adapting them based on opportunities and insights
  • Build customer rapport and relationships across virtual and face-to-face environments
  • Manage call objectives, next steps, documentation, and KPIs
  • Use digital engagement tools and analytics to develop insights and next-best-action plans
  • Deliver compliant, targeted product messaging to drive product demand and prescribing behavior
  • Provide insights for new approved product messaging and resources
  • Educate providers on branded and unbranded product value propositions and relevant disease-state information
  • Plan customer engagements with healthcare professionals and office staff in virtual and in-person formats
  • Deploy approved Pfizer resources, including samples, vouchers, co-pay resources, and patient education
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Strategy, Customer-Facing colleagues, and Pfizer Connect team members
  • Support patient access by providing information about reimbursement, PAP, Pfizer hub programs, and co-pay resources
  • Present approved terms of sale or contract terms and answer on-label questions
  • Introduce customers to Pfizer’s future on-demand portal, Galaxy
  • Travel to accounts and office locations within the territory and stay overnight when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience
  • Experience in a promoted position and/or developmental role with demonstrated leadership across peer groups
  • Experience in specialized markets using third-party reimbursement and service centers
  • History of marketing, promotional, or sales success
  • Strong territory management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Teamwork, leadership ability, and accountability
  • Must live within 50 miles of the territory
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards
  • No DUI/DWI or other impaired-driving citation within the past 7 years
  • Ability to travel to all accounts and office locations within the territory
  • Ability to stay overnight as necessary, depending on territory size and business needs
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Preferred: 3–5 years of specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products
  • Deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets
  • Strategic account marketing, promotional, sales, and management skills
  • Data analytics, project management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to engage, influence, and support customers throughout the marketing, promotional, and sales process
  • Ability to learn and embrace new ways of working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources
