About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Engage customers face to face and virtually
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans and live/virtual engagement strategies
  • Build rapport and manage relationships with customers, Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Launch new products and develop strategies for business relationships and formulary access
  • Use internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Apply approved product and disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Assess market barriers and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete customer call entries, expense submissions, and other administrative requirements compliantly and on time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience
  • Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies the candidate
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical-related marketing experience preferred
  • Strong track record of sales or marketing success preferred
  • Strong territory management skills preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills preferred
  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability, and accountability preferred
  • Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and products preferred
  • Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets preferred
  • Residing within the territory boundaries preferred
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • Must have permanent work authorization in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable now or in the future
