About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for consented patients across the treatment journey
  • Conduct patient needs assessments addressing coverage, affordability, and logistical barriers
  • Assist in coordinating care across healthcare providers and sites of care
  • Act as a field-based expert on reimbursement and payer policy
  • Provide guidance on the prior authorization process
  • Deliver compliant education on reimbursement processes and patient access resources
  • Develop and execute account-level access strategies
  • Engage with payer organizations to clarify coverage policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical (or related) experience in customer-facing roles/functions
  • 1+ years in Access and Reimbursement support role
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Specialty Pharma experience, preferably within the Pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical sectors, Provider/Carrier Networks, or Government Agency
  • Strong understanding of Reimbursement including Buy & Bill, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks
  • Knowledge of the Specialty policy dynamics that exist in the Rare Disease Community
  • Demonstrated leadership and success at working across internal boundaries
  • Valid US driver’s license with a compliant driving record
