About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the infrastructure layer for Pfizer's AI ambitions
- Manage the compute, LLM gateway, MLOps machinery, and observability platform
- Architect the AI workloads platform to support various Pfizer domains
- Build a governed, automated deployment pipeline for AI models
- Develop agent orchestration layer and observability infrastructure
- Monitor real-time usage and anomaly detection for AI systems
- Oversee MLOps platform, experiment tracking, model versioning, and deployment pipelines
- Ensure compliance with Trusted AI's governance policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years in software or infrastructure engineering
- 7+ years in AI/ML platform, MLOps, or AI infrastructure roles at significant scale
- Experience building and operating multi-tenant AI/ML platform infrastructure
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM gateway or model serving infrastructure
- Proven MLOps platform experience with documented outcomes
- Strong IaC practices in a multi-cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience leading platform teams with SLA-driven operating model
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries
- Experience with encryption and security tools
- Experience operating AI infrastructure in a regulated environment
