About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the Specialty Care Field Medical Director Lead to drive alignment and coordination of goals
- Supports assigned Asset or Field Medical area activities/initiatives such as Ad Boards, medical congresses, and other projects
- Drives the creation/implementation of simple medical processes
- Develops and maintains business relationships with key colleagues
- Drives agendas, builds presentations, and supports facilitation of Field Medical Team meetings
- Develops and leads tracking and analysis of performance/activity measurements
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and other Operational Excellence colleagues
- Supports overall financial management and forecasting for assigned Asset or Field Medical area budget
- Partners with Legal, Procurement, finance, and external customers to develop and execute agreements
- Supports development of the Asset and/or Field Medical Strategic and Operating Plan
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry or related fields
- Advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred
- 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
- Prior experience in working in Medical Affairs organization is essential
- Experience in other medical/clinical functions desirable
- Prior experience in Project Management, Business Operations
- Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies
- Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex projects, including budgetary management and fiscal awareness
- Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions
- Must be independent, pro-active, self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Knowledge of Pfizer systems including POD, Ariba BOD, EngagePlus
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
