Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement with customers
Maintain a high level of scientific and therapeutic area knowledge
Deliver truthful, balanced, accurate, and scientifically supported information in response to unsolicited medical requests
Serve as a conduit for medical information and customer insights
Identify and explore areas where clinical practice may diverge from established evidence
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical Affairs colleagues
Demonstrate strong communication skills across multiple channels
Optimize patient centricity in medical communications
Support patient-focused discussions
Deliver approved medical content to HCPs
Identify and engage appropriate customer segments
Field and manage inbound medical inquiries
Partner with Global Medical Affairs to support clinical trial identification
Provide medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research lifecycle
Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD degree required
0+ years of relevant experience in clinical practice, clinical research, health services research, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology medical affairs
Experience engaging healthcare professionals in independent scientific exchange
Experience in the designated therapeutic area is highly desirable
Demonstrated clinical and technical expertise applicable to scientific exchange and medical engagement
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, field-based environment
Comfort operating within a matrixed organization
Demonstrated change agility and adaptability
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using digital technologies and platforms to support medical engagement and documentation
Demonstrated ability to synthesize scientific evidence, real-world insights, and customer perspectives
