About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with internal customers to identify and evaluate available sourcing and resourcing options
  • Prepare a Request for Information and investigate alternative vendor solutions
  • Independently prepare commercial terms & conditions and execute medium complexity contracts
  • Liaise frequently with stakeholders to manage expectations of sourcing and contracting process
  • Directly negotiate changes to standard contract language
  • Participate in special projects and/or initiatives to achieve business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS degree
  • 4+ years of Sponsor experience, CRO operational and/or proposal development/contract management experience, or other related experience
  • Experience negotiating and drafting vendor agreements
  • General knowledge of all phases of drug development (pre-clinical, phase I-IV, post-marketing/approval activities)
  • Finance/Clinical Budgeting Experience
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word/Powerpoint/Excel/Copilot)
  • Experience with Ariba Contract Workbench, SalesForce, and/or other industry cost benchmarking or contract/budget management tools is desired.
