About the role

  • Plan and execute independent Medical strategies and engagements for assigned external medical stakeholders
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines
  • Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights
  • Understand priorities of Pfizer Medical Affairs to contribute to educational content strategy development
  • Demonstrate expertise in scientific communication across multiple channels
  • Optimize patient care improvement in Medical communications
  • Educate external stakeholders based on patient care gaps
  • Achieve leadership-defined expectations regarding stakeholder engagement
  • Identify and seek medical scientific engagement from priority external medical stakeholder segments
  • Collaborate with US and/or Global Medical Affairs colleagues
  • Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process
  • Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise

Requirements

  • MD or DO Degree required
  • 4 years of relevant experience required
  • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and respond to multiple external and internal stakeholders’ demands
  • Ability to manage a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrate clinical and technical skills
