About the role
- Contribute to the development of the global medical strategy for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)
- Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to address current and future needs
- Lead Voxelotor publications subcommittee and act as overall SCD publication lead
- Develop, review and approve internal and external medical materials
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure communications align with medical strategy
- Partner with Patient Advocacy to develop research studies
- Contribute to GMAT and GMAT sub-committees as appropriate
- Educate concerning medicine and/or therapeutic expertise
Requirements
- PharmD or PhD
- 5+ years of medical affairs experience
- Experience objectively interpreting and analyzing medical and scientific data
- Experience defining and communicating complex scientific and medical concepts
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience prioritizing multiple demands
- Experience effectively leading in a matrix organization
- Up to 25% international travel
