About the role
- Source to Pay delivers world-class procurement capabilities to Pfizer
- Partnering with internal Pfizer customers to ensure they receive maximum value for every dollar spent with Pfizer suppliers
- Executing effective strategic processes, including category management, supplier management and sourcing projects
- Align Pfizer with the best suppliers, promoting continuous improvement in supplier performance
- Driving compliance with Pfizer’s intellectual property and privacy requirements
- Leading EIS management system framework to ensure track and enable critical team value delivery
- Ensuring consistent and effective supplier performance management across Enterprise Indirects
- Leading key aspects of team culture, growth, and communication within the team and with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or CPSM designation or equivalent credential is desirable
- 5+ years relevant experience in sourcing / procurement category management
- Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating complex, cross-functional activities and teams and in Project Management
- Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing (RFx), procurement systems, processes and procedures
- Proven program governance leadership
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers (contracts, pricing etc.)
- Experience of supplier performance and relationship management (methods, tools, practice)
- Experience and ability in data analysis to support decision-making and identify actions
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal interactions skills
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams
- Project Management, stakeholder management and influencing skills are required
- Strong experience in the management of global supplier relationships
- Negotiation experience with large organizations providing services to the Pharmaceutical industry
- English language fluency
