About the role
- Responsible for study site start-up and activation.
- Deploy the Operations – Sites and Clinical Studies strategies globally by qualifying and activating assigned sites.
- Support processes to optimize country and site selection activities, including review and assessment of draft lists of potential sites and presentation of Pre-Trial Assessment (PTA) results to inform site selection.
- Support the Feasibility Strategy and Analytics Lead to deliver high-quality feasibility outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide regional and national guidance on national surveys, including protocol feasibility, country standard-of-care, and medical practices (where applicable).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or nursing qualification in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (estimated at least 7 years’ experience).
- Proficiency in the local language is an asset.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated experience in research site management, with prior experience as a site monitor / Clinical Research Associate (CRA).
- Demonstrated experience in site start-up through activation activities.
- Demonstrated experience in study conduct and close-out activities.
- Established knowledge of the quality and regulatory requirements of the relevant countries.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)/International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong computer skills and ability to adopt new technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel regularly.
- Proven networking and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Knowledge of national Good Clinical Practice requirements, which may differ from Pfizer-recommended approaches.
