About the role
- Define and execute Pfizer’s cloud engineering and operations strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business priorities
- Design, deploy, and optimize multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS and Azure)
- Drive infrastructure automation initiatives to improve agility and reduce operational overhead
- Oversee cloud workload migration programs, ensuring seamless transition of applications and services
- Establish and maintain operational excellence across cloud environments
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud platforms meet diverse needs
- Partner with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure cloud designs align with governance and compliance standards
- Develop and manage budgets for cloud services
- Build and mentor a high-performing cloud engineering team
- Stay current on emerging cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, security operations, or related fields
- 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform operations, with at least 8 years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in designing and operating cloud platforms across AWS and Azure
- Strong background in infrastructure automation, cloud architecture, and workload migration
- Experience managing large-scale cloud operations in a global enterprise environment
