About the role
- Lead a team responsible for translating Pfizer strategy into innovative digital, technology, and data platforms
- Define the strategic direction, technical vision, and operational excellence of the platforms
- Integrate advanced engineering practices across multiple disciplines
- Influence decisions that shape the future of Pfizer’s digital ecosystem
- Oversee the architecture, design, and delivery of Pfizer’s global commercial platforms
- Champion privacy-first and security-first engineering practices across all platforms
- Direct technical troubleshooting, guide teams through root-cause analysis
- Ensure all solutions are designed with privacy and security by design principles from the outset
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as an information technology professional with increasing responsibility designing, delivering, and maintaining large-scale, global systems
- Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence enterprise strategy and lead large-scale transformation in a pharmaceutical or other regulated environment
- Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of the Pharma industry
- Proven experience in high level of business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace
- Strong team and people leadership skills
- Financial acumen
- Experience in vendor negotiations and sourcing model definition
- Familiarity with Adobe enterprise Platforms, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Generative AI technologies, AWS and Cloud/SaaS platforms
