About the role
- lead a team responsible for translating Pfizer strategy into innovative digital, technology and data platforms
- define the strategic direction, technical vision, and operational excellence of platforms
- integrate advanced engineering practices across multiple disciplines
- serve as a strategic advisor to senior Digital and Commercial leadership
- oversee the architecture, design, and delivery of Pfizer’s global commercial platforms
- make enterprise-level decisions on platform selection, vendor partnerships
- champion privacy-first and security-first engineering practices
- oversee large-scale delivery programs, platform operations, and vendor partnerships
- lead responses to critical security incidents and operational outages
- ensure all solutions are designed with privacy and security by design principles
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred
- minimum of 15 years of experience as an information technology professional
- exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to influence enterprise strategy and lead large-scale transformation
- demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of the Pharma industry
- proven experience in exhibiting high level of business knowledge
- strong team and people leadership
- demonstrated ability to lead in a complex, global matrix
- financial acumen
- vendor sourcing model definition and effective execution
- experience in vendor negotiations
- familiarity with Adobe enterprise Platforms, Salesforce, Generative and Agentic AI technologies, AWS and other Cloud/SaaS platforms
- experience with modern web development frameworks and JavaScript patterns
