About the role
- Lead technical engineering decisions, solution designs, delivery and operations for assigned program
- Lead teams of 10-25 technical resources to solve complex engineering problems
- Ensure delivery of security-and privacy-first capabilities
- Provide technical leadership: technology choices, design approaches, solution architecture and implementation
- Maintain good code quality and secure code hygiene
- Configure SaaS solutions to ensure security and compliance
- Facilitate conversations between Enterprise Architects, Business Architects, Vendors and Developers
- Align objectives, dependencies, and schedules across multiple teams
- Collaborate with security teams and digital operations to ensure compliance and smooth BAU operations
- Architect solutions that are secure, compliant, scalable, maintainable, and efficient
- Advocate best practices, new technologies, automation, and continuous improvement
- Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and act on Developer Experience feedback
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting during outages, ensure resilience and post-mortems
- Ensure privacy and security are integral to system design
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years’ experience with increasing responsibility delivering digital solutions, products, and services or Master’s degree and 7+ years of experience
- Professional certifications in engineering leadership are a plus
- Demonstrable experience operating in a DevOps environment
- Proven capability handling large scale, enterprise software delivery in a global 24/7 environment
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using Salesforce.com, Data Cloud, AgentForce, and TableauNext Semantic Layer
- Salesforce Data Cloud experience a must
- Agentforce and TableauNext experience a plus
- Copado and SonarQube experience preferred
- Experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
- Experience driving and participating in technical discovery to architect and deliver solutions
- Systems thinking experience integrating multiple solutions
- Experience with multi-cloud architecture and deployments
- Experience working with remote and multi-cultural teams
- Experience in highly regulated and sensitive data handling scenarios preferred
- Experience with security and compliance audit processes preferred
- Understanding of CI/CD practices, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, microservice patterns
- Excellent experience with Agile team processes, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent experience estimating complex technical stories
- Strong written and spoken English and asynchronous collaboration skills
