About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own model selection and evaluation frameworks for AI-based workflows
- Design cohort and customer/HCP segmentation methodology using real world data sources
- Direct analytical logic and decisioning behind agentic workflows
- Partner with the AI/ML Engineer to translate methodology into production-grade agents and pipelines
- Support strategic and tactical planning regarding medical/analytical priorities
- Collaborate with the Data Architect/Data Analyst to align analytical outputs with data model and quality standards
- Communicate generated insights and analytical trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders
- Identify new data inputs, analytical techniques, and evaluation approaches to improve workflow quality and adoption
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists and data engineering colleagues
- Lead teams and engage diverse stakeholders to drive transformational change
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, or similar
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, 7+ years with a Master's, or 5+ years with a PhD
- Data science experience, notably in the healthcare sector
- Healthcare/pharma data experience, including claims, EHR, and HEDIS/OMOP frameworks
- Hands-on experience evaluating and experimenting with LLMs and agentic systems
- Ability to independently lead projects and support colleagues’ professional growth
- Effectiveness working in a cross-functional business environment
- Proven influencing and strong interpersonal skills
- Effective English verbal and written communication
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP and data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules/guidance, legal and compliance, and issue management
- Ability to drive transformational change, lead teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and understand technology applications in the Life Science sector
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
- Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable
