About the role

  • Provide technical consulting, perform cost-effectiveness analyses, and optimize work ergonomics on-site at end users’ facilities
  • Resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with Technical Customer Advisors or the PFERDTOOL mobile service
  • Support, shape assortments, and provide technical assistance to our distributors and direct customers
  • Develop the territory through active market cultivation and new customer acquisition
  • Conduct cost-benefit and business process analyses within the sales environment

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial training; ideally at least 5 years’ experience in technical sales or qualification as a master craftsman/technician
  • Solid knowledge in the use of cutting tools for metalworking is required (milling / drilling / threading)
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to adapt to customer-specific requirements
  • High customer and service orientation and willingness to travel
  • Self-motivated, strong communicator, and persuasive
  • Confident user of CRM systems and MS Office
