About the role
- Planning, design and technical support for new products as well as product modifications in ongoing production
- Handling requests for custom-made products, including assessing feasibility with regard to raw materials and available plant technology
- Developing and defining product and raw material specifications
Requirements
- Completed degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or materials science; alternatively, a certified technician qualification with relevant professional experience (e.g., Development Engineer, Product Developer, Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Materials Engineer, Technician, Application Technician, or comparable roles)
- Knowledge of ceramic materials and/or experience in adhesive bonding technology is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style, strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hands-on mentality combined with solution-oriented, pragmatic approach
