Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape the foundations that enable engineering teams across PEXA to do their best work
  • Review platform performance and reliability metrics, meeting with engineering leaders to identify opportunities to improve developer experience
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to prioritize platform services and ensure engineering standards are met
  • Lead a high-performing team of engineering leaders, creating a thriving environment for innovation
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors and influence technology decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Platform and infrastructure strategy, including cloud-native platforms and large-scale engineering environments
  • Engineering leadership and influence, with the ability to align teams around shared standards and outcomes
  • Developer experience, productivity tooling and platform adoption at scale
  • Operational excellence, observability and resilience engineering
  • Commercial and vendor management, including strategic partnerships and technology investment decisions
  • Experience partnering with teams on developing new approaches and tools to support agentic software engineering
