About the role
- Monitor security alerts and manage the security alerts queue
- Triage threats, analyze vulnerabilities, and respond to emerging risks
- Ensure device and infrastructure security
- Leverage skills in AWS, security tools, networking, and scripting with Bash/Python
- Collaborate with delivery squads, security and observability teams
- Work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals and participate in training/mentoring
Requirements
- Basic coding or scripting skills
- An interest in cloud infrastructure, Linux, and security
- Problem-solving, analytical and continuous learning abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for technology and driving innovation
- Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- A degree (completed or completing by Feb 2026) in Computer Science, Software/Data/Security/Platform/Cloud Engineering or related STEM field OR a career changer seeking to move into Technology
- Or equivalent experience via relevant courses and bootcamps (Including graduates from 2023 onwards).
- Able to complete online assessments and attend interviews in October and November 2025
- Available to commence in February 2026
