About the role

  • Develop rich, responsive, and accessible interfaces with a focus on user experience and performance;
  • Lead Front-end efforts, actively contributing to technical decisions, architectural patterns, and the evolution of the presentation layer;
  • Develop and integrate Full Stack solutions, ensuring efficient communication between front-end and back-end;
  • Work in multidisciplinary agile squads, actively participating in ceremonies (planning, daily, review, and retrospective);
  • Contribute to the technical design of solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and coding best practices;
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, QA, and Back-end teams to ensure deliveries aligned with business needs;
  • Support continuous evolution of digital products by proposing technical improvements, new approaches, and innovations;
  • Monitor the quality, performance, and stability of production applications;
  • Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or related fields (postgraduate degree in Software Engineering is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong Front-end expertise;
  • Hands-on experience with React and/or Vue.js, including componentization, state management, and API consumption;
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs;
  • Knowledge of Java (8 or higher) or another modern back-end stack;
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
  • Experience with microservices and high-availability applications;
  • Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform;
  • Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and version control (Bitbucket or similar);
  • Experience with application monitoring (APM, Grafana, logs, and metrics);
  • Knowledge of caching (Redis) and messaging systems (SNS/SQS is a plus).
  • Previous experience in Retail and/or E-commerce;
  • Experience working closely with UX/UI teams, with a user-centered mindset;
  • Experience with technical and product metrics (KPIs/OKRs);
  • Experience in scaled, high-performance, and high-traffic environments;
  • Ownership mentality, technical curiosity, and a genuine desire to improve product and code.
