About the role

  • Act strategically in building and executing Trade Marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze key category KPIs (market share, sales, profitability, assortment, pricing and display/exposure)
  • Identify growth opportunities using market data, consumer trends and sell-out analyses
  • Develop and implement strategic category management plans in partnership with key retail clients
  • Turn data into actionable insights to support commercial and Trade Marketing decisions
  • Define and review the optimal assortment matrix by store cluster, channel and consumer profile
  • Develop, negotiate and monitor planograms and store layouts
  • Ensure correct execution of strategies at the point of sale
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Commercial and Marketing teams
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations with results, analyses and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain close relationships with major retailers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related fields
  • Solid experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing or Commercial areas, preferably in consumer goods (FMCG)
  • Advanced user of MS Office, with strong Excel skills (analysis, dashboards) and PowerPoint (strategic presentations)
  • Proven experience reading and interpreting sell-out data (Nielsen, Scanntech, Kantar or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic vision and business acumen
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in related areas (preferred)
  • Knowledge of planogram tools (e.g., JDA, Apollo) (preferred)
  • Previous experience with large retail chains and different sales channels (preferred)
