About the role
- Active development of new international markets, including identification, outreach and acquisition of new distributors
- Development of sales strategies, account plans and go-to-market strategies for new and existing countries and regions
- Product presentations and training on site at customer locations
- Planning, preparation and conduct of annual review meetings and commercial terms negotiations
- Responsibility for budget, sales and results
- Management of the acquisition process from initial contact through contract closing
- Definition and tracking of growth KPIs
- Market and competitor analyses to prioritize target markets
- Collaboration with marketing and product management to successfully launch the Petromax brand
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience managing international, independent trade partners
- Fluent in English and ideally a second language (preferably French)
- Excellent communication skills and outstanding negotiation abilities
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven closing strength
- Experience in acquiring and developing international distribution structures
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
- Intercultural competence and confident manner when dealing with international business partners
- Open to frequent travel within your assigned territory
