About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- Provide visionary leadership to the retail media sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for revenue generation
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and partners; negotiate and finalize contracts
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies and inform product development
- Work with marketing to develop sales collateral and promotional materials to support sales efforts
- Set clear performance goals, monitor progress, provide coaching, analyze sales data, and maintain accurate sales forecasts and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media sales or related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership or managerial role, with strong coaching and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
