About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develops and executes marketing strategies to strengthen the employer brand of Petco
  • Supports the design, delivery, and optimization of recruitment marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Owns execution and optimization of recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Maintains project trackers and timelines to ensure timely delivery of assets and campaigns
  • Builds and manages marketing assets including CRM campaigns, newsletters, and digital content
  • Continuously tests and optimizes campaigns to improve engagement and conversion
  • Tracks and analyzes campaign performance using CRM and data analytics tools
  • Conducts ongoing research on competitor employer branding and recruitment marketing trends
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition, HR, and hiring managers to align campaigns, content with hiring needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–6+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or recruitment marketing
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that are clear, concise, relevant
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience in recruitment marketing or employer branding (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Phenom, Beamery, Avature) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Talent Solutions and social media advertising (preferred)
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, dashboards, etc.) (preferred)
  • Marketing automation & CRM segmentation (preferred)
  • SEO and paid media basics (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) (preferred)
  • Basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) (preferred)
  • Stakeholder management across multiple levels, including senior leaders and doctors (preferred)
