Requirements

What you’ll need

We expect roughly 6 years of engineering experience.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
Background that balances technical execution with product ownership.
A mindset that sees AI as a multiplier, not a buzzword.
Ability to take a high-level product vision, translate it into a concrete technical roadmap, and execute it independently.
Direct experience building and optimizing core search functionalities, specifically around ranking systems, advanced filtering, indexing, and query relevance.
Hands-on experience working with search engines like Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Algolia to build fast, high-traffic query interfaces.
Strong experience building scalable web applications with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React.
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), data modeling, and GraphQL usage in large systems.
Active use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in your day-to-day engineering work.
