About the role

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
  • Conduct site inspections and recommend customized pest control solutions
  • Develop sales opportunities through referrals, leads, travel, and cold calling
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the service team and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build your knowledge of pest control inspection processes, procedures, and methods
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
  • Use company vehicle and provided equipment as assigned
  • Work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm covering Mount Pleasant, IA and surrounding areas

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Previous B2B sales experience (pest control or service industry a plus!)
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and competitive mindset
  • Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Education and Training provided on-the-job
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Firm knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
