About the role
- Conduct in-depth analyses of climate finance trends and compile supporting evidence for reports.
- Support preparations for UNFCCC sessions (Subsidiary Bodies and Conferences of the Parties) by tracking deadlines, preparing briefing materials, and providing on-site support at climate conferences.
- Assist project managers with administrative tasks, stakeholder engagement, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes.
- Gain experience in business development by conducting landscape scans for new funding opportunities and drafting proposals for international donors.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program, or in the final stages of a Bachelor’s degree in Climate Policy, Economics, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and readable texts.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working proficiency in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated interest in climate policy through internships, volunteer work, or related experience.
