About the role

  • Serve as the primary project contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely communication and proactive project management throughout the event cycle.
  • Understand each client’s event objectives and translate them into system configuration and workflow recommendations.
  • Oversee initial system setup and configuration, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with client goals.
  • Execute iterative configuration changes as needed throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist clients with troubleshooting issues and escalate technical concerns appropriately to internal teams.
  • Provide direct training and consultative guidance to clients to ensure successful adoption and use of A2Z’s event management tools, including the Event Portal and related modules.
  • Guide clients in accessing and utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS) and other available training resources to strengthen their knowledge and confidence.
  • Encourage client engagement with A2Z Support for technical or time-sensitive inquiries.
  • Work closely with Account Management to communicate client health, identify risks, and share potential growth or upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Product, Engineering, and Finance—to advocate for client needs and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Adhere to and help refine standardized project management processes, documentation, and best practices across the team.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each project, ensuring adherence to scope and schedule.
  • Create and document change requests or Statements of Work (SoW) when project scope exceeds contracted terms.
  • Maintain up-to-date project records and client communication logs within designated tools and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in the trade show, conference, or professional association industry
  • 1–2 years of client-facing work experience, preferably within a technology or event operations environment
  • Ability to conduct thorough requirements analysis and translate client needs into clear, actionable configurations and documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Strong customer service and communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to convey value and build trust
  • Experience with workload planning, performance monitoring, and basic project financial tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, understand project requirements, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
