About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and grow customer-facing data products
Build AI-powered and agentic analytics tools
Build the backend services, APIs, and query layer that power these products over large, fast-moving datasets
Partner with product and design to translate customer and business needs into reliable, performant, data-intensive features

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building data-intensive products or backend/full-stack services
Proficiency in a backend language (we use Python, Ruby on Rails, and Go)
Experience building user-facing products or APIs backed by large datasets
Working familiarity with SQL and analytical data stores (e.g. Snowflake, ClickHouse)
Experience leading product-engineering initiatives across teams and mentoring other engineers
Comfort operating in ambiguity and partnering with product to shape strategy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A passion for using data to build transformative customer experiences
Nice to have: experience building AI/LLM-powered applications or agentic tooling; React; Google Cloud (GCP); semantic layers.
