About the role

  • Own and manage general ledger accounting in NetSuite across multiple international entities, including oversight of key balance sheet accounts (cash, intercompany, accruals, payroll, taxes).
  • Lead and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial consolidations.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting activities, including billing, settlements, eliminations, and funding across entities.
  • Manage multi-currency accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP, including foreign currency remeasurement and translation.
  • Support financial reporting and global tax compliance, partnering with external advisors on income tax, VAT/GST, and statutory filings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., Payroll, People Ops) and support audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation.
  • Drive process improvements by documenting, automating, and enhancing NetSuite workflows, internal controls, and supporting international expansion projects.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of accounting or audit experience, ideally within SaaS or usage-based revenue environments
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including hands-on experience with ASC 740 and familiarity with broader accounting standards
  • Experience with US federal/state taxes and exposure to international tax frameworks (VAT/GST and foreign corporate taxes)
  • Proficient in accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; effective in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
