Mentor and coach engineers across the organization
Establish and drive a new Operational Excellence review process
Define and measure SLOs for critical user journeys

Requirements

10+ years of experience building and shipping complex production systems
Direct experience in performance, scalability, or observability is a significant plus
Enjoys mentoring other engineers and can explain complex technical ideas clearly
Deep expertise in the three pillars of observability (metrics, logs, and traces)
Experience in instrumenting complex, distributed systems
Ability to listen with empathy, build trust, and influence teams without direct authority
Ability to build robust, well-tested libraries and tools
Takes initiative, comfortable with ambiguity, and effective at driving projects
