About the role
- Provision, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure resources, including VMs, storage accounts, networking, and Azure SQL databases.
- Administer and optimize Azure DevOps environments, including pipelines, repositories, and permissions.
- Plan and execute software deployments, including applications, data, and databases, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability across all Azure-hosted environments.
- Provide application support for clients, focusing on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure applications are deployed and maintained in alignment with infrastructure best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance protocols.
- Act as the liaison between cloud infrastructure management and client software support.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure administration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure provisioning, networking, and Azure SQL administration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, repos, and CI/CD processes.
- Proficiency in supporting enterprise applications, including deployment and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and cloud security practices.
- Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
