About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- supervises departmental activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements
- directs all related personnel through training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety compliance
- determines department priorities based on established weekly production schedules and makes daily assignments
- collaborates closely with Quality Services to facilitate product/component releases
- ensures budget compliance, including allocation of team overtime and meeting other annual budget objectives
- monitors warehouse activity to ensure compliance with established procedures and takes corrective action when necessary
- arranges for the maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership experience with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to provide direction, guidance, and support across multiple functional areas.
- One to three (1–3) years of logistics, distribution, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred
- Previous experience working in an FDA- and DEA-regulated environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize and respond effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
- Ability to analyze issues, develop solutions, and drive results while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
