About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment
- Suggest methods of process improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot/service intermediate electrical and machine controls circuit defined as: Conveyor drive system, Motor starter circuits including Variable Frequency Drives, I/O – Switch Functions, Equipment wiring/grounding techniques, A/C & D/C Electronic concepts, Proficient in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Vacuum Systems
- Read/Interpret relay and PLC Ladder Logic
- Participate and assist in machine installations, suggesting and implementing machinery upgrades/improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years of formal education in industrial/electrical maintenance from an accredited technical center or approved recognized apprenticeship program
- At least 2-5 years of applicable work experience
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions in English, such as safety, quality, and GMP guidelines
- Must possess and demonstrate aptitude in the mechanical and electrical, machine controls, and pneumatics/vacuum primary skills
- Must be familiar with current machinery and control technologies
- Experience with robotic systems and automation.
