About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and implement the Sales Excellence strategy for the Modern Trade channel, ensuring best-in-class execution at the point of sale
- Design and implement the Sales Excellence framework for the Modern Trade channel (execution standards, KPIs, best practices)
- Ensure excellence in in-store execution: assortment, planograms, pricing, promotions, visibility, and availability
- Define and track key commercial and operational performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead continuous improvement projects by identifying opportunities to optimize commercial and execution processes
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, CS&E, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Analyze market data, sell-out performance, and shopper insights to support decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roles, trade marketing, sales excellence, or similar positions within top FMCG companies in Spain
- Strong experience in the Modern Trade channel (large retail chains, supermarkets, organized retailers)
- Deep understanding of point-of-sale execution and the FMCG commercial model
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in project management and organizational change
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
