About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports investigating and closing site deviations.
  • Leads or participates in site wide improvement projects and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provides technical support as it relates to incident/deviation investigations for all commercialized products.
  • Evaluates product quality through deviation trend analysis.
  • Coordinates the investigation and follow-up processes using various analytical tools in collaboration with appropriate departments.
  • Prepares investigations and incident reports and executes corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) as necessary for all product and process issues.
  • Ensures timely completion of all investigations and corrective actions and recommends disposition of all involved product to Quality Leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in this field preferred.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, FDA regulations, including experience with investigations and/or developing and recommending process improvements.
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts and practices in pharmaceutical sciences, manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Able to analyze and identify root causes, execute corrective actions/projects.
  • Very strong technical writing skills required.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, organization and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members at all levels.
  • Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), and SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal guidance and to meet project deadlines.
