About the role

  • Lead full lifecycle of divestment projects from strategy development to execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of internal experts and external advisors for divestments
  • Identify and evaluate acquisition targets aligned with Perrigo’s M&A strategy
  • Source opportunities using external networks, strategic partners, and tools (including AI)
  • Build and maintain relationships across global consumer health and OTC pharma industry
  • Manage transactions from due diligence through deal signing, closing, and integration planning
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, regulatory, supply chain, commercial teams and external advisors to drive execution
  • Support preparation, negotiation, and execution of licensing agreements and strategic partnerships
  • Partner with Scientific Affairs and Rx-to-OTC switch team to strengthen product portfolio
  • Conduct targeted market analyses, competitor assessments, and develop competitor profiles
  • Provide actionable insights to inform corporate strategy and M&A pipeline

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in M&A, Business Development, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting, ideally within the pharmaceutical, consumer health, or consumer goods industries
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of legal, IP, regulatory, and supply chain considerations in consumer health/OTC pharma is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while fostering team collaboration
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to build strong relationships in a global business environment
  • Position based out of Morristown, NJ office
