About the role
- Plan and carry out account management in line with the defined strategic plan of the Contract/B2B customer/product portfolio
- Drive and build sustainable sales growth through development of strong customer relationships internally and externally
- Collaborate with manufacturing, regulatory, quality and supply chain functions to support business development
- Achieve turnover and gross profit budgets for Perrigo Omega’s product range globally through customer development
- Manage and develop relationships with allocated customers and identify growth opportunities with plans to achieve them
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal cross-functional meetings
- Influence, monitor, control and communicate customers’ forecast demand against budget and contribute to the Monthly Demand Forecast process in SAP
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate profitable business and sustainable relationships
- Actively prospect for new business to drive utilisation of manufacturing capacities and liaise with Head of Contract Sales
- Build strong professional relationships with customers at all levels and functions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales/business development experience in the FMCG/Generic market within the UK/EU
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or healthcare advantageous
- Experience of dealing at multiple management levels and functions within key blue chip companies
- Customer-focused orientation and ability to represent the customer internally while understanding corporate standards and processes
- Proven sales, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork approach
- Ability to analyze data to identify market trends and develop strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
