About the role

  • Report to the Senior Director CS&I and lead a dynamic team of over 9 professionals
  • Shape commercial strategy and embody the voice of the shopper and customer for France
  • Deliver annual, quarterly & monthly business cycle requirements and translate budget goals into country & channel targets
  • Act as a critical member of the Market Leadership team partnering with Market Lead & Marketing Director
  • Drive sustainable & profitable growth across fragmented customer & channel environments through strategic resource allocation
  • Own commercial deployment plans, Go To Market strategy, CVA input and target ownership for country innovation needs
  • Ensure centrally deployed innovation tools are tailored for local sales teams and lead country deployment of annual brand plans
  • Lead innovation execution, KPI progress tracking, IMEX contributions, and delivery of commercial components of the Local Success Model
  • Lead Perfect Store strategy by channel and key customer and own Perfect Store & DVRP measurement and action plans
  • Build capability: optimise processes & tools, contribute to cross-market sessions, elevate customer development excellence, and manage organisational design and performance management

Requirements

  • Typically 10 years+ experience in a large FMCG/Consumer Health or retail environment
  • Preference for extensive commercial experience (e.g. Shopper & Trade Marketing and Sales)
  • Proven experience in managing analytically demanding corporate initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in leading senior external relationships and integrating omni-channel strategies and managing retailer relationships
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies, processes, and controls, including trade funds management and planning processes like S&OP and Stage Gate
  • Expertise in enhancing forecast models, segmentation frameworks, sales incentives, pricing strategies, and reporting tools
  • Fluent in written and spoken english
