About the role
- Technical head of the laboratory and overall disciplinary responsibility for Quality Control
- Approval/release of raw materials and preparation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs)
- Conducting stability studies to determine shelf life
- Investigation and evaluation of OOS (out-of-specification) results
- Creation and maintenance of work and procedural instructions in accordance with GMP, ISO 13485, AMG, AMWHV, EU GMP guidelines, Ph. Eur., DAB
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with other departments
- QC budget control as well as development and enhancement of KPIs
- Commissioning and oversight of external analytical laboratories
- Method verification and validation
- Active participation in quality meetings and cross-functional projects
- Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Completed degree in a natural science (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Chemistry)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in quality control, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment
- At least 5 years of leadership experience with disciplinary responsibility
- Strong knowledge of physico-chemical analytics, particularly chromatography
- Sound knowledge of relevant GMP regulations
- Experience with SAP, TrackWise, and LIMS is an advantage
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
